Our Fleet
Fugro-Geoteam’s
fleet consists of new, high class vessels and vessels that have recently undergone major upgrades. With this modern fleet Fugro-Geoteam provides efficient 3D / 4D seismic data acquisition worldwide. Our specialty is in large scale 3D, 4D and long offset marine seismic data acquisition and five of our 3D vessels are capable of towing 8 or more streamers.

Unique Competence
Experienced crews, state of the art equipment, careful planning and emphasis on source and offset harmonization have enabled Fugro-Geoteam’s vessels to acquire high quality data when undertaking complicated undershoot operations. In one case, 26 obstructions were undershot by our vessel Geo Pacific in one survey area of 400 sq km.
We have successfully acquired data in some of the harshest marine environments on the planet such as Antarctica and the Barents Sea. Allied to this is our experience in areas with extensive fishing and shipping activity such as the Straits of Hormuz, India and Japan.
Our versatile fleet of vessels allows us to acquire towed streamer data using longer streamers in shallow water. Effective planning, Fugro’s pre-survey capabilities and special equipment onboard the seismic vessels have enabled Fugro-Geoteam to acquire 3D towed streamer seismic data in water as shallow as 10 metres.
